Here's how to read and understand this Price Guide... every Diamond is graded with the GIA Grading system, having a Color and Clarity rating. Using the Gem Report, first find the Price Chart having the correct Diamond Size. Next, drop down to the row with the correct Color Grade. Then scroll across to the applicable Clarity Grade column to arrive at the Retail Price per carat.
NOTE: all prices are per carat, so you need to multiply the price per carat to the carat weight of the gem.
Example: a Round Brilliant Diamond weighing 1.50 carats, "F" color, "VVS2" clarity, is listed at $26,000 per carat, so multiply 1.50 times $26,000 to get the total Retail price for that stone, which would be $39,000 (1.5 x $26,000).
